My oldest son really wanted this toy washing machine when he was 1 and a half. He went on about it for ages, being a boy mummy tried to change his mind but no he wanted it.

I must admit I did give in and buy it for him. He kept saying just like mummy. It is a great little toy we brought it from the early learning centre. It does take 3 x C batteries to make it work. It is made of a blue sturdy plastic with red buttons and a green door. Once the toy is switched on there are a number of different buttons on the front of the machine to start different cycles. There is a small draw in which you can pretend to put the soap powder. Once you close the door on the machine and press the button it makes a sound like it is filling up with water and the door looks like there is water in there. You can choose to put the machine on a number of different cycles just like a real machine.

My son really loved playing with this and he has just given it to his younger brother who is 14 months and he loves it too. Money well spent.
