My daughter had this brought for her for her 3rd birthday. It cam with an iron and ironing board with the washing machine as a set. Lets start with the washing machine, it makes great sounds but she constantly pulls the door off due to its bad design. There is a handle winder on the back to make the drum go round. The handle is also very easy to pull off. If you are buying the set the ironing board comes apart and you will be asked every five minutes to put if back together by you child which becomes very annoying. To be honest children do love these items because they can mimic there parents but there must be better ones out there. My suggestion don't put this on the Christmas list as you might end up having to take it back find a wooden alternative. Suitable for 3 years and over.
