The only slight issue with this CD player is that, if for example we are dancing about shaking our booties, and happen to (as we often do) hit the floor with the grace of the average drunken hippo, the CD player will cut out for just a few seconds . This was £40 at the time of purchase, not including the 6 C batteries required . A quick look on the ELC website reveals that you can buy it now at a cheaper price - £32 . I think this present would be ideal for any music loving child (don t forget it comes in red and blue too!) and also that it could provide some great fun at sleepovers and childrens parties . 	ELC Cash Register And Scanner ... things make the toy a great asset to any toy box in my opinion for girls or boys (although boys may want to go for the other colours) The durability of the toy is brilliant, it s really chunky and easy to wipe down etc; my daughter has already dropped it down the stairs twice and is still in tact. Very sturdy toy and made with great quality as you would expect from the early learning centre. ELC sell this product along with the blue one also for £20.00, they also have a special offer at the moment where if you buy the till you get a free shopping basket, which again is lovely for role playing and again good quality and sturdy design. 	ELC Singalong CD Player ... really come in handy when my son has friends round or his sisters want a shot. The repeat function is also really good so that you can set it up to play there favourite song over and over again. A downside is that there is no adapter included with this and it really eats the batteries. Luckily we had a spare adapter lying around that fits so we use this when he is listening to his bedtime stories. If you dont have one it can cost around £10 to buy one and unfortunately the ELC dont provide details of which on eot buy so it is best to take this with you to make sure you buy the correct one.
