Advantages: easy to assemble

Disadvantages: far too costly to maintain

This toy has been out of the box 3 times in 10 months. The advert looks great , the children are smiling and the butterflies fly out no problem. In reality the children fought, fell over or into things and the butterflies all got stuck either in the 'elephant' or halfway up the trunk.
The toy cost me £ 12.98 and I have spent the same again in batteries (4 x 1.5v required) as they never last more than a few goes. Ditching the duracell to try and make it a bit cheaper I found that cheaper batteries were not powerful enough to move the butterflies up the trunk at all.
The description / box also states that this game lasts 15mins- in my experience the batteries do not even last this long!
The few good points which are far outweighed by the bad are that there are 4 nets included, easy to , bright and colourful.
Yet I see this advertised year after year and it remains a favourite on kiddies christmas lists.
