Advantages: Says childs name

Disadvantages: None

After seeing advertisements for this puppy on the television, my mam went out to buy it for my daughter as a Christmas present. I had looked on the Internet and seen that the puppy was available in 2 different forms. The first was a light brown little pup with fuzzy ears and the second was a white little pup with girlie pink bows and collar.

The description:

My mam decided to go for the white pup. The puppy was in a see through box and you could see even before taking it out that it was a good quality toy. The puppy is quite large and he has floppy fuzzy ears, each have a lovely pink bow in to match the plastic pink collar. After eventually getting off all the ties and stitches the puppy was ready to be played with.

The toy:

The puppy also comes with a few smaller items:

A DVD and USB: you can personalise your puppy by installing the disk provided by doing this you can programme your child's name into it and chose a name for the puppy too. Once you have entered in the details you must connect the puppy to the USB cable provided. You can then transfer all of the details over so that the puppy will now be able to say your child's name during play. The disk is very straightforward to install.

A tape measure: this enables you to measure the puppy growing. Altogether the puppy claims it can grow from a puppy to a big dog in four day. The puppy does grow a number of centimetres per day and by day four you can notice a difference in the pups size. You can also make the toy a small pup again.

A bone: during play the puppy might ask you for his bone, by feeding this to him he will make chewing noises and occasionally he will burp. The puppy will tell you if he hasn't finished and you try to remove the bone too quick.

A brush: the puppy loves to be brushed and he will tell you how much he likes it.

A birth certificate: you can write the puppies details on here and keep it safe.

I can remember the first time that my daughter heard the puppy say her name. She was surprised and the look on her face said it all. She loved it.

The puppy can move its head and its tail while it is speaking to the child. Its eyes are very bright and inviting and the puppy is just so cute. You can hear the mechanisms inside as the puppy moves but I am yet to find a toy that hasn't got a slight noise when it is moving.

The cost:

I can only seem to find the puppy available in brown and the price of that one is £32.99. Luckily my mam shopped about for my daughter's and she found the white one in home bargains priced at just £15 an absolute bargain for such a quality toy.

Overall:

This is a very well made toy and I love the whole idea that the little puppy can say your child's name. The puppy has such a sweet soft voice that I find myself pressing him too. I would definitely recommend this toy to children and adults.lol.

Summary: Great toy that says many phrases
