Milton Bradley Barney Memory Game

This game may seem as if its not really for children, but you dont have to play it with playing cards, the early learning centre and several other stores sell packs of pairs cards. The idea is to spread the cards out face down and each player takes it in turns to try to pick up a matching pair. For younger children you can start off with say 5 pairs of cards and work up to a full pack. Its a great game for getting childrens minds focused on what theyre doing as they try to remember where the cards are and whats on them, hand,eye co-ordination is also heavily used.
