Rider-Waite Tarot ... is a good starter pack, consists of 78 cards in total. 22 major arcana ranging from The Fool, to The World. Then you have the minor arcana, Ranging of 4 suits The Cups, Wands,Swords and Pentacles. If you look at the cards you will see they tell a sortof story. like the Fool Starting out on his journey to the world where he reaches his journeys end to start anew phrase. The minors Wands show career and enterprise options in your life Cups are showing your emotions and emotional issues in your life. Rider-Waite Tarot ... have requested a little more basic info so here we go. The tarot is a 78 card deck consisting of 22 Major Arcana cards each of which has an archetypal image and name such as The Fool, The Empress and The Sun. The remaining cards form the minor arcana and are split into 4 suits of pentacles (earth), cups (water), wands (fire) and swords (air), the prototypes of the common playing card suits. They are numbered like regular playing cards but with 4 court/face cards instead of three; Page (or Princess), Knight, Queen and King. Crowley Thoth Tarot ... Crowley is notoriously known as the wickedest man in the world. If you have not heard of Crowley you will probably have heard of Dennis Wheatley's the Devil Rides Out. It is generally recognised that Wheatley used Crowley's writings as source material and that the satanic Mocata was based on Crowley himself. Having read his biography I do not think he was quite as bad as Mocata but I do think he had rather an obnoxious personality. Any way the Thoth Tarot and its accompanying book, The Book of Thoth, was the last major work of Aleister Crowley.
