Advantages: Easy to use, just like the tv character

Disadvantages: Doesn't run easily on laminate floor

My three year old is a huge fan of Roary the Racing Car and watches it every morning. When I saw this remote control version I just had to buy it for him. The car is aimed at 3 years plus and I would say this is the right age group.

The car is an exact copy of the character with great detail. The remote control is simple and easy to use. There are two button on the remote, one which goes forwards and backwards, and one which goes left and right. Very simple to understand for a young child. It is designed like a steering wheel too which adds to the entertainment and belief that they are driving a car.

The car itself has two modes - one which involves Roary speaking and making revving noises. The phrases he uses are from the tv show and bring the toy to life.

The only downside I would say is the car doesn't run very well on hard floors as it can't grip very well, such as laminate, but struggles on carpet so I belive the wheels could be of a better design but other than that a great buy and good value for money at just under £15.
