Advantages: Good if you don`t have the real thing

Disadvantages: some of it`s real easy, some far too hard

My kids are 6 & 8 and they are both of the right age to play on it...although some of the games are a bit too tricky for the 6 year old.

Theres a lot of things to do on it Word Games, Maths Games & Trivia Games.
It` like a `Speak & Spell` & `Little Professor rolled into to one, with a little extra.

The idea of these pre computers is to get the kids ready for the real thing. Well my kids prefer the real thing & often play on the real computer, so the Vtech gets forgotten.

The Trivia is the most played & my 8 year old has educated herself, playing this.

If a child has never used a computer it can be quite hard to work out how to use.
And even I find it hard to explain how to play some of the games on it.

They can play at different levels and the scorcomes up on the screen.
They can actually learn basic computer programming on it, but they need to be 14 to be able to follow the instruction booklet.

It`s not cheap either,(around £70) my advice is if you have a real computer...let them learn & play on that & give the vtech a miss.
