Advantages: worthy pre computer and hours of fun

Disadvantages: expensive and can be addictive.

Up until last August my two sons wanted a new big modern PC like all their friends. But living on benefits and money being tight I could not afford what they wanted.

I felt mean but I had no way of knowing if they would look after an expensive piece of technology so I looked around for a cheaper alternative.

The idea was that I knew nothing of computers myself, and needed something that was just as easy for me to operate as them because if they had a problem it was me they turned to.

I scoured the catalogues and found a brilliant in-betweener called 'V-TECH PRE-COMPUTER UNLIMITED'. It was well worth the £114 I paid for it. I read the instructions and must confess found myself playing on it whilst they were at school.

It is a brilliant starter to buy while contemplating buying a full PC. It attaches into your own TV or Video and operates by keyboard and mouse just like the one I am typing on now.

Take my advice and if you are in the same boat try it out first at Toys r Us or any computer place and decide for yourself.
