VTech My Laptop:
... 3 year old is always hitting the keys on my laptop so thought it would be good idea to get a "child friendly" toy laptop. As computers are part of everyday life now, it gives him the opportunity to have a play with a toy one without wrecking my keyboard. I bought mine last Christmas and although it was not his most favourite toy it still does get played with. *What it does* This laptop is strong and l... VTech My Laptop ... daughter was bought the Vtech first laptop for christmas one year when she was 3. It came with a workbook and gaurentee. She was excited as mummy has a laptop and now she could be a big girl too but I must admit that at the age of 3 (which is the age level it states suitable from) she did struggle to use it. There are many different settings and activities such as spelling, word games, number games, pictures, musical and colours to play and they are all aimed at helping the child to learn and improve skills. For the first few months all my daughter was intrested in was pressing the numbers for differnt musical tunes, she would attempt to use the mouse but found it all ... VTech Thomas the Tank Engine Learn and Explore Laptop ... What a computer for a toddler. My son was 2 when he got this laptop and was just beginning to take an interest in letters and numbers and it was the best buy you could imagine. Within a week he recognised all of his numbers, and within a month he could tell you any letter of the alphabet. The computer isn t just a basic abc 123 either. It has enough games to entertain children until they are at least 5 or 6 in my opinion. There are basic games of recognising the letter and number and matching it to the keyboard, up to entering the missing letter in words which teaches spelling. There are control games for the mouse where you have to direct Harold the Helicopte... Read the full review: The perfect computer to get them started by sttb1997 |

Hasbro Elefun ... advert for this is really a good piece of advertising - my daughter was desperate for this for her birthday! So we got it for her. It is a really frustrating game. It really is as fun as it looks on the telivision, but the fun is very short lived with each game lasting 30 seconds max. You then have to spend more time than the game takes to play collecting up all the butterflies! I think that the butterflies could be better quality too - they are just coloured paper in the shape of a butterfly, My guess is they wont last long, and woould maybe be better if they had been made from some sort of light plastic. Remeber to buy the batteries!!!!!!!!!! They do NOT come with t... Read the full review: Daughter loves it - parents - not so much! by clarahj |
