AA The Driving School
by tony hartley
I have just read a lot of negative comments about the AA and its instructors and feel that I must relate my experience. In one word great!.On my first lesson I was very nervous althoug I did know some basic things ie clutch control etc as I ride a motorcycle. My instructor made me at ease, took me to a quite road and assesed what I thought ... I knew, needless to say we started from scratch. My lessons have been very instructive and my instructor very professional, his timekeeping is also faultless.I do agree that the price for lessons is a little expensive but you cannot put a price on safety.Im sorry to read about bad experiences with instructors but thats all about life and choices,if you and your instructor dont gel change instructors, its your choice!.I failed my first test but it was my own fault not my instructors,he got me ready I blew it!.My next test is in a few weeks and wont be changing my instructor.TONY LIVERPOOL Read the complete review |

Hermes (Delivery Service)
by J
I recently ordered a pair of boots from Topshop for a smart-casual meeting I had after college. I paid £5 to have them delivered to my mum's work on the Thursday (having ordered them on the Tuesday). Despite receiving a text that morning assuring me my parcel was on its way (and so not bothering to bring any alternative shoes with me), ... they didn't materialize until two days later. I was forced to wear the shoes I'd been in all day (which weren't particularly professional looking) and paid £5 for what eventually became pretty much standard delivery. My experience definitely isn't the worst I've seen (although that's not necessarily a good thing!) but it was just very annoying, especially considering they told me it was 'on its way' when it was obviously still in a factory somewhere. I'd expect better, especially from such a nice brand as Topshop, hope they can sort their delivery out soon! Read the complete review |

Surepass Driving School
by Helen
After reading what people have said on here I wasn't sure whether to chance it or not with this company. My mate had lessons with Surepass and said her instructor was really nice and she passed first time so I thought I'd have a few lessons and see how I got on.
The lady in the office was very helpful, she explained everything ... I needed to know. I didn't think their prices were too high, probably average I'd say. The only slight problem I had was when my study materials didn't arrive on time but one call to Surepass and the lady (Michelle) got it sorted and they arrived the next day.
My instructor (Dave) was brilliant, a really funny guy. we hit it off straightaway. Nothing was too much trouble, he ws always on time, told me exactly where I was going wrong and told me when eveything that was going well. For someone who has no confidence in a lot of stuff, Dave really soothed my nerves.
I did the 30 hour course and passed first time with just a few minors. Im just waiting to start my passplus with Surepass.
Honestly, I can only think that anyone on here who's had a bad experience with Surepass must have done something wrong themselves!! I'm really fussy and I can honestly say that Surepass really did exceed my expectations. Read the complete review |
