Tesco Car Breakdown Cover ... have had a completely different experience from Tesco Breakdown Cover than the other reviewers however it is well worth noting my experience. I took out tesco car insurance and car breakdown as a bundle for two years running. The breakdown cover was in the region of £30 extra and was covered by greenflag. I have had previous experience from greenflag in the past and was extremely satisfied with their response time and ability to repair my car at the road therefore all seemed good from there. When I did have a problem with tesco breakdown was when I changed my car. I contacted tesco car insurance to let them know I had traded my car in and upgraded to a new one. ... Kwik Fit ... Fit rip off again!!!!!! I booked my car in a 1.8T S passat for an oil change and got quoted £29 for the job to be done. After having the oil change completed they decided they were going to charge me £49 for the job. I told them that the price had been agreed on at the £29 but they said the car i drive uses a more expensive oil. Muppets i had this chat on the phone before booking the car in and was assured that the price would be £29. I ended up paying them the £49. They also gave the car a good going over and decided that i needed 3 new tyres as they were illegal. So being not overly impressed with there service i went else where for the tyres. The new ty... Initial City Link ... Link in Swansea have just got to be the biggest joke!!!! Told by Amazon my items would arrive by the 1st December. On 3rd December tried to track my order only to find out the driver from City Link had tried to deliver on the 1st but could not get a reply - yeah right!!! Someone in all day. No card left. Told to collect from depot in Swansea and after driving twenty miles was told I couldn t collect because it was not my name on the package but that of my eight year old son and he had to take ID and collect it himself. Said "send the *thing back to Amazon then". This is the second time this has happened. Might as well go to the shops to buy the items...
