Royal Mail ... Mail is the postal service here in the UK, associated with the Post Office. It has pretty much become a brand, and offers a wide range of facilities and services other than just postal! Royal Mail also produce stamps, and as an avid stamp collector, am extremely interested in their designs, a majority of which are very interesting, cultural and beautiful to collect. ~~~SERVICE~~~ Royal Mail deals with many different postal options. Royal Mail ... Royal Mail delivers lots of letters and post within the UK as I m sure you re aware! However, some of their systems and policies drive me mad! I live on the edge of a business/industrial estate, and there are only about ten or so houses on our road. Good to avoid burglars and vandals...bad if you want your post delivered. Our postman is one of the laziest people I ve ever met. Either that or he s signed up for a contest to deliver as many of the red You missed your parcel cards as possible. Occasionally, if we re lucky and get the other postie, he will put parcels in the hidden recess by the wheelie bin and leave a card saying where he s left it, or leave it with ... Royal Mail ... is a lot of Royal Mail bashing these days, probably due to the recent postal strike, but I personally am a very satisfied customer of Royal Mail and would like to put in my 2p about their service. I live in a very remote community in the north of Scotland. While couriers tend to either charge at least £10 extra to deliver even a small package or else refuse to come up here at all, Royal Mail charges us the same price they charge everyone else. This is a huge benefit for those of us living in a fairly rural community where the shops don t have everything we need and therefore end up ordering online quite often.
