I have personally grew dis-heartened by my South Manchester based AA instructor who generally turns up late, without even bothering to make an excuse up half the time, also he rarely initiates any kind of conversatioin to put you at ease.

On a couple of occasions he has texted to say I've booked lessons I haven't making me feel guilty for having to cancel them, also he never has any change about his person and the diesel is always running dangerously low during the lesson.

As an instructor on the whole I really get the impression that he'd rather not be there. He quickly loses patience with you and raises his voice destroying your confidence; at first I thought it might be myself acting over-sensitive; but he never explains things properly and has never given any real progress reports. He hasn't bothered to take me through manouvers (or even mention when I'm going to be doing them) and I do the same thing every lesson - despite having about fifteen hours previous driving experience along with 15 hours from him.

All this for a very steep 24 quid an hour? I learned the hard way that independant schools are cheaper and better, this fellow is just out to fleece you of cash.
