The online tracking said my parcel was still in the van, but that does not tell me when if ever the delivery is coming, and I can't stay at home all day for a week just in case. I therefore went round to their Mitcham depot to ask what was going on. Their attitude was one of couldn't-care-less, and they just said sometimes the driver runs out of time so can't make all his scheduled delieveries. Amtrak are useless. I happened to be out when they attempted delivery, so they left a card which promised they would attempt to deliver again the next day. I stayed in all next day, but guess what happened? No delivery! I tried phoning them to find out what was going on, but I just got a useless recorded message fobbing me off. Absolutely disgusting customer service and pathetic service all round. Paid online (as it is not possible to arrange a collection over the phone, accroding to Amtrak) to have an item collected from away and delivered to my home address. Person at collection end waited in, no Amtrak arrived. Phoned Amtrak only to be told I hadn't arranged a collection, yet they had happily taken the money from my account! I spent hours on the phone to Amtrak being transferred from dept to dept only to be told my unique ref was not recognised. I eventually paid for another courier (Parcel Force) to collect and deliver my item. In the meantime I had to fight to have my money returned from Amtrak, which it eventually was without so much as a sorry from them. Never again.

really bad service. you pay for delivery and have to go out of your way to collect it - and then the depot isnt open cause all the staff have gone home!! when u complain ur told, "you've got the opening times wrong. It does say them on the card and web site", even though i'm looking at 2 delivery cards and the web site telling me other wise!!!! but obviously i'm in the wrong!! Even trying to find the depot was a nightmare, as the werehouse actually had a different company name on it. Even with an AA route planner it might as well be on Mars! If not home leave with shop downstairs.
I purchased my Item over a month ago and the seller has had to pay 3 times to have this redelivered... still haven't seen it yet

I bought a computer from BT shop. Amtrak tried to deliver today, on Tuesday, but according to Murphy's law I went out half an hour in the whole day and obviously they delivered at that time. To avoid the same problem as their delivery time is scheduled tomorrow between 8:00am and 6:00pm I called the depot with the idea of asking them to consider as alternative delivery point my neighbor, which is the opposite door. First point is that there is no customer service option in the number they give and after having tried two options I chose "sales" and I was finally connected to an human being.
