I was waiting for a computer part to be delivered. Most other computer supply companies that don’t use Amtrak deliver the next day if item is in stock.

They have a so-called computerised tracking system that tells you to phone a local depot to find out where the item is! When you phone the depot, the phone rings for ages until BT cuts you off. And when you finally do get through (after several hours), you get the feeling that your wasting there time.

I was told that my parcel was meant to be delivered that day but they had put too many parcels on the van and the driver would not be able to get to me that day. When I asked if they could tell me a time that the item would be delivered the next day, they told me that they could not, because more parcels might have to be delivered the next day. These people expect you to wait at home for several days until it is convenient for them to deliver!

There customer services department is no better. I emailed them two weeks ago and have received no reply.

Find out if your supplier uses Amtrak. If so, use another supplier.
