Advantages: PROFESSIONAL MANNER, MY INSTRUCTOR, I LOVED MY DRIVING LESSONS!

Disadvantages: NOTHING

BSM driving school were brilliant for me. After shopping around, getting quotes ffrom various independent instructors, the general rate for driving lessons in my area seemed to be around the £20 mark. BSM charge £24.25 (i think) per hour, but with special block booking discounts the price came down to £21.25 an hour (which is hardly a great deal more than many independent instructors, and very well worth it when they get you through the test in no time!).
My instructor from BSM was brilliant, he was always at my house 5 minutes early and never undercut my lesson times, infact on occasions I would end up with about 2 hours 15 mins of a 2 hour lesson. His approach was very profesionsal, BSM instructors wear uniforms for example and lessons were structured according to my progress and ability. I have seen my next door neighbour going for driving lessons with an independent instructor, watching the other day I saw how the driving instructor couldn't even be bothered to get out of the drivers seat and walk round to the passenger seat, he merely shuffled through the car over the gear lever and handbrake! What a doddle.
I passed my test first time with BSM within a few months of beginning lessons.
Oh and for the left reverse around a corner, you are allowed to lower your left door mirror to see the curb! Why you doubt your instructor, I don't know!
