Advantages: You now know how crap they are, so you never have to use them ever again.

Disadvantages: didn't knock on door, don't answer questions, cannot add numbers together.

I have looked around the web and noticed there are lots of bad reviews for the company DHL. I don't agree with that, this company isnt just bad, it is total and utter crap and they cannot be beat on there crap performance anywhere.
I ordered a dvd player from ebay, the guy selling it was in the uk, his advert said dvd player was in the uk. I got the player within a few days, i thought everything was fine, so i left the seller positive feedback.
Nearly 3 weeks later i get an invoice from DHL asking for £40, it turns out the uk seller lied to me from the start and sent the item from china instead. I was pretty angry about this because i know anything you buy from the far east has the potential to incur import duty. I phoned DHL first and asked why they didnt tell me about the charge at delivery (this would have given me chance to inform the seller, get him to pay for it instead, and to be able to leave him negative feedback) DHL wouldnt answer my questions, just told me i had to pay up. I felt well ripped off. The ebay seller said he was willing to pay £10 toward the charge which i thouight was better than nothing. Ebay said the seller breached none of their rules (useless) Paypal said i wasant protected (useless) I know both ebay and paypal let me down, but i still feel more angry about DHL because they stopped me doing anything in so many ways.
I still don't know why they can't tell you of the charge at delivery, but if they had to pay duty for me, then it stands to reason they know exactly how much it would cost.
All i can think of is that they make up there own prices, the delay is your eventual bullshit invoice. To all those other people out there that seem to love this company, i say take the 3 week challenge yourself then see if you feel the same.

The Teletubbies make more sense than these guys, use DHL at you own risk.

Summary: Company is braindead, avoid at all cost.
