Advantages: Information for other 'customers' and DHL Customer Services
Disadvantages: Customer left with damaged goods and high price paid for them
DHL aka Days Hours Late...try Weeks Month late!
My parcel was from Karachi Pakistan to Marrakech Morocco.
It arrived in Casablanca within a week. Held in Customs for Duty to be paid ( marked as gift) I tracked on line each day to see the progress. I telephoned DHL and was told I had to pay Duty but no sum was given! I went to my local DHL office in Marrakech for help. I was given telephone numbers and e-mail address. It took four days to actually speak with someone ( always voicemail) My mails were returned 'mail not delivered' After two weeks of calls and e-mails with the intervention of the person who sent the parcel I was told I could collect the parcel..not delivered to my door!
When I went to collect I had was given a bill for twice the price plus storage! due to the length of time in DHL office.
And WHEN OPENED the items had been damaged..now DHL want me to pay £120 to return the parcel! to enable me to claim for the damaged items!
Summary: Awaiting Customer Services DHL to review the problem of return ( 7 days to date0
