I've found FedEx to be shockingly bad.
A couple of years ago I waited in all morning for a delivery. It didn't come. I checked on the website and it said they had tried to deliver but noone had been at the delivery address. I contacted the helpline. They said that the computer said that the driver had tried to deliver. I said I knew what the computer said but it wasn't true. I pointed out that I was actually there in the house all morning, waiting for the delivery. I also pointed out that if (as was just remotely possible) I hadn't heard the door bell then a card should have been posted through the door, but this had not happened. The customer 'help'line person didn't seem to think that any of this was relevant and just repeated that the computer said the driver had tried to deliver. He told me they'd try 'again' the next day.
The exact same thing happened the next day. The invisible delivery driver rang inaudibly on the bell, posted an invisible card through the door and reported back that an attempt to deliver had been made.
The product was then returned to the sender (in the USA). Fortunately they refunded my card payment.
My impression of FedEx? Lying, useless scum.
