Flying in general

Description: Airlines & Airports

Newest Review: ... said the plane had a small technical fault. It makes you think and worry, as no one likes flying that much. They said it was to do with the air-conditioning. Once I got on the plane and found this out, I laughed at how I was worried but then I thought 'what if that was a lie just to hide it..?' as I wouldn't be surprised because they don't want to worry anyone. The flight was totally normal ... more

... and quite smooth in the end. It's more the pilots that are a risk as they are in control of the planes. This is why I wouldn't recommend flying with airlines such as Kenyan Airways and other ones that more frequently have bad accidents - it's not worth ...more

A lot of people are scared of flying for one reason or another. You may be scared of heights or you just may be scared of any accident happening whilst flying. Like all people, I have always been concerned about flying in relation to its safety. Flying is perfectly safe - it's the safest method of travel and if you think that there are thousands of flights everyday and compare it to when you hear about a major accident, the ratio is tiny. There are car accidents everyday - you don't hear about them always as they only involve a few people. They are very common and you probably get hundreds around the world everyday. My thought is that you're more likely to be ...  Read the complete review

I came across this review topic by chance, and have thought long and hard as to whether I should write of my feelings on the subject. Nevertheless, in the end I decided I would, because it is a true reflection of my opinion on flying and not all reviews can be positive. I took my first flight when I was eleven, and continued to fly every year after that. Flying was fine as far as I was concerned, a necessary requirement to reach our destination. It was like getting on a bus or a train, I just did it. Twelve years later and my parents had rented a villa in the sun and invited me to join them. I readily agreed. Then once my flight was booked, I ...  Read the complete review

Going to your flight can be the biggest headache out of the whole flight and journey. My problems when it comes to going to Airports/Airlines * Less support from staff on check ins * Always want more money when you are overloaded with your suitcase * Less trolleys to carry your suit case's around * A whole lot of people in the check in line who are not even going anywhere just in the lines with their friends Them are the main problems which happens at Airports for me. The food also at the Airports is just too over priced. A bottle of 75ml 7UP cost me 2.50 the last time coming to a airport. When it comes to airlines ...  Read the complete review

I have been fortunate to travel a lot around the world both with work and also as a holiday maker and I have managed to experience a number of airports in my time and here are a few of the high lights and low lights that I have experienced. The Good Schipol Airport in Amsterdam is a shoppers paradise and somewhere that I can happily spend a couple of hours waiting for a flight, it is well set out with very spacious areas, the food is varied and good quality and the shops ar brilliant, you can even get a massage (not the type you get in town lads before you get over excited). Coventry airport was brilliant while Thompson flew from it, not ...  Read the complete review

Flying in general, I fly fairly regularly but lately have become disenchanted with the whole idea. I only fly in europe as I don't think I could put up with 10 hours or more. My main complaint while travelling "cattle Class" is the lack of information , firstly at the airport, delays are on the board, but no explanation as to why! Gates are often changed at the last minute and you, the traveller are herded from one place to another, not a happy experience when you are looking forward to a relaxing hliday . When you finally board the flight, you sit for four hours with your knees under your chin ! And why on earth do they have reclining seats when the leg room ...  Read the complete review
