Upon reading recent reviews about thompson performance cars I find I must put my view forward.

I have used this garage for nearly 3 years now and have always enjoyed a very good level of service.

There are lots of garages around who profess to offer the best service at the best price but often dont.

I drive a porsche boxster & was concerned when I came to the end of a service I had with a main agent.

I needed a full service & an MOT & had various quotations ranging from aprox £200 to £500.

A friend of mine recomended thompson performance so I decided to go there & was told when booking in what engine oil was specific to my car & what spark plugs it required as many garages could possibly use inferior oil, filters & plugs.

I was shown their parts department & the many grades of engine oil & types of spark plugs that they have to use these days which are specific to different vehicles.

When I collected my car they had saved the filters, plugs & belt that they had replaced to show me & I was also given a spare bottle of engine oil & antifreeze should I need to top up between services.

The cost of my MOT was £39.50 then, now they charge £34.50 which they advertise in the stone gazette, needless to say I still use them & will continue to do so.

If you are ever in any doubt as to what has been replaced on your car just ask them to save the parts for you.
