I'd definitely recommend this centre to everyone

Georges Car Wash & Valet Centre, is, well, pretty self-explanatory really!

The simple gist of the company is, you take your car to the centre, it gets washed or valeted, and off you go, a beautifully shiny car.

What makes Georges so unique is that you can get a professional to clean your car for you or you can do it yourself with the high-powered jet washes available.

Georges has a variety of car washes available, and you can chose to only clean the exterior of your car using the jet and foam washes, you can get it waxed and polished, even have the paintwork touched-up. For the interior, one of the staff will vacuum your car to a high standard, cleaning any muck and gunk away (anyone with a car knows that even if you're a very clean person, there is always going to be unavoidable rubbish inside your car!), polishing the dashboard and any hard surfaces, cleaning the seats, washing the floor mats, etc.

So where is it? Georges Car Wash is located in Manningtree, which is right near Tendring in Essex. Located right next to the train station, Georges also offers the added extra of commuter parking in his secure car park located on the car wash. For roughly £50 a month, you can park in this car park whilst you get the train to work, and the staff will clean your car weekly, too.

I haven't memorised the price lists so unfortunately am not 100% sure of how much it will cost you for the pros to wash your car, but with the self-service jet washes, you put a pound in the machine and get 2 minutes (a buzzer will ring when your time is nearly up). Obviously, if you wish for more time, put more pounds in. I think £2 is generally enough for your average car, so long as its not ridiculously dirty. That gives you enough time to use the foam brush to scrub the exterior, and then use the jet wash to rinse it. You can ask one of the staff for a leather too to wipe off the excess water and leave your windows sparkling.

For a member of staff to clean your car for you whilst you wait (you can either sit in your car, in reception, or on the bench located in the centre) I believe it is £6. You can pay for extras, such as waxing, polishing, etc. All this information can be found out by calling the centre. (Found in the phone book or internet under Georges Car Wash!).

Of course, for more detailed washes, where you can actually get your paintwork fixed to a high standard in the case of scratches or dents, the service will cost you a lot more, up to £60, but in return for this you'll get a car as good as new and excellent service.

The staff are very friendly and polite and can be identified by the signatory blue jumpers they wear that say Georges.

The wash also offers mechanical services, and if you are in need of this, simply ask for the owner, George, and he will happily help you.

I've used Georges Car Wash at least 6 times now and have been very happy each time I've gone. For reasonable prices, the staff will offer an excellent service that will leave your car clean for ages, and excellent customer service too.
