Initial City LinkNewest Review: ... via City Link. The driver did knock at the door, if ever so lightly. Fortunately I heard the knock, as he was about to turn and return to the van parked by the pavement. I had to sign and print my surname on a paper pad he handed me while he went over to fetch my parcel in the van. I just received a parcel (laptop stand) Rain Design mStand raise the screen to meet eye level for better posture and view from Amazon via City Link. CityLink is the dumbest courier service known to man. I sat in all day yesterday expecting a return / collection between 8am and 5.30pm. When i rang them at 7.45pm (15 minutes before they close) they told me - ARE YOU READY FOR THIS - That they do not guarentee collection. Sorry, Im abit lost, doesnt that defeat the term COURIER (To collect and deliver).
Anyway I rang today to find out the time they were coming and they told me - READY FOR THIS - They have no record of my collection. HAHA How dumb can these idiots get, running a courier firm isnt rocket science - DERRRRR. Infact its probably the easiest businesses to run.
If you need a courier service - AVOID CITYLINK
Also if you shop online and they use CITYLINK then find another online store that doesnt, I have stories about that too.

Great service, always reliable and helpful. I live out in the sticks and they deliver no problem. When I miss the van they answer the phone promptly, unlike Parcelforce, and send the van back that day when possible. The drivers are great and the track & trace works well. All you want from a courier.

im posting this on every thread i can find with Amazon and Citylink as a search term.(not hijacking as it is on topic) because hopefully amazon will be collating comments and see some sense. Last 2 years i have used amazon i have found them fantastic delivering through royal mail, strikes and all! last fortnight they have started using citylink and i have had to cancel not one but two orders, something i never did with RM. I work nights every other week so im always home for daytime deliveries. However, it would come 4:15 ish and i would be thinking "wheres that parcel" so i would look on amazons site to discover "delivery ... Read the complete review
