CityLink ruined my wedding day!

The simple fact is that they failed to deliver a parcel to me in what can only be described as the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Unfortunately for me, the parcel that was never-delivered contained the pair of shoes and other items I was meant to wear on my wedding day on 8 August 2007.

The shoes were custom-made in my husband's family tartan and were to be the main focal point of my wedding outfit. They were specifically mentioned in the wedding programme with a note to our guests to ask me to see the shoes. As you can imagine, I did not have time to re-print our wedding programme before the wedding and remove this note - so all day long guests were asking to see my shoes.

What would have been an awesome conversation and memory of the day has been completely spoiled - not to mention terribly embarrassing. Needless to say, every single guest at our wedding now have a terrible association with CityLink.

The parcel also contained items which were going to be used to create a pillow for the ring bearer (I was going to incorporate lace from my late mother's wedding dress on this pillow) and now the day has passed and these memories will never be able to be recreated.

I have waited over 2 weeks for a reply from CityLink and fear that I will never hear from them regarding this sad situation.

Summary: CityLink ruined my wedding day :o(
