Citylink - don't believe all the bad press (Initial City Link)

Advantages: Prompt, reliable and cost effective.

Disadvantages: They must save all their good service for certain areas of the UK or something!

After reading today of so many woeful experiences with Initial Citylink, I thought I'd write about mine.

I have used Citylink to send and receive goods, both professionally and personally, for probably 6 years. We have a Citylink van that comes to our office every day to collect anything from a letter to hundreds of boxes.

I have never experienced a problem with any package I've sent or received. I've never been treated with anything other than the upmost professionalism, even when I've rolled into a depot 5 minutes before closing to collect a missed delivery.

We have never received a complaint about their deliveries from our customers, other than 1 time when they delivered and urgent package exceptionally quickly, and the recepient wasn't around to accept it - in this case it was re-delivered later the same day.

Citylink - at least for me - have cost effective, prompt and reliable.

I don't for a second believe that anyone else is unjustly critising Citylink - life isn't perfect, I'm sure Citylink have made their fair share of mistakes, however I thought it was about time someone said something about the flipside of their service.

Here's hoping your next experience of Citylink is as good as any of my many have been.

Oh, and before you ask, I have nothing to do with Citylink at all other than being a customer!

Summary: Lots of people seem to slag them off, but I've nothing but praise for their service.
