Advantages: Good for waste disposal, send some toxic waste via city link and you'll never see it again

Disadvantages: uh, they're crap? they lie? if you arent in first time they deliver you've had it?

This lot are useless. Ok, so I wasnt in the first time they tried to deliver, but I do go out to work! The problems arise in trying to arrange a re-delivery. "Ok, we'll re-deliver it on friday" I was told. I waited in all day, surprise surprise, no parcel.
Tried to ring them up using the card left after the first delivery, you get put onto an automatic phone system which invites you to leave the consignment number of the parcel you are expecting. Only because a re-delivery has already been arranged the consignment number is now invalid. So left my number on the messaging service for a "customer adviser" to contact me. and I'm still waiting 2 days later.
Sorry, but I've paid good money to have the parcel delivered to my home, I fail to see why I should be expected to drive 30 miles out of my way to collect something that should have been delivered when I was told faithfully it would be.
If you can't deliver, dont lie about it!! will you be refunding the £10 in petrol its going to cost me?
My advice? use royal mail. I've never had any problems with them in 6 years of internet trading and at least if you have to collect your parcel chances are the depot is going to be at least in the same bloody county where you live, not tucked away in an industrial estate the other side of god knows where.
City link suck.

Summary: The best reason ever for retaining the Post office/royal mail
