CITY LINK NEED A KICK UP THE ARSE (Initial City Link)

I have had several experiences with City Link and they are a bunch of cowboys. I now check which courier company the Internet retailers use before ordering if they use City Link I do not order from them. My local Depot is 14 miles away so it is not even convenient to pick up my undelivered parcels.

The last straw came after they tried to deliver to my address twice, so I rang them and a very stroppy woman answered, i asked for redelivery and she told me they could not deliver a third time as it was in their contract with the suppliers not to and told me to contact the supplier for them to rearrange delivery. So I rang the supplier and told them and they informed me that the 3rd delivery was not true and that they were supposed to try again.

They rearranged delivery for a day that was suitable for me and all was good. Until the morning of the delivery when the City-Link van arrived outside my house, delivered to a house opposite and next door but not me! So I checked the City-Link parcel tracking service and my consignment number was not recognised. I rang the supplier and they rang City-Link and they had the cheek to say I was not at home and they had sent the package back to the suppliers!!

These people need reminding that people work 9 to 5 and sometimes are not available for delivery and should be a little more flexible and more customer focused, as they only seem to worry about upsetting people.

Incidently the suppliers sent my package out by Royal Mail Parcelforce.

AVOID THIS BUNCH OF COWBOYS IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY.
