Do not use City Link (Initial City Link)

Copy of email sent to City Link- they made me sit in whole day and did not bother turning up.

"I phoned City Link twice at around 6PM and then 7PM. The lady on the phone said that she had phoned the depot and assured me that the phone would be delivered within 45 minutes. I was sitting by the window till around 9.30 PM and did not see any City Link van or car.

Carphone Warehouse guarantees delivery before 5.30 PM next day, but this is the second time that City Link has not delivered on the day it is supposed to. And the only reason your driver could not get a signature for the phone was because he did not turn up at the house.
Instead of apologising for not delivering the goods and making me wait in whole day, City Link is trying to pass the blame on to me. I will pass on a copy of this email to Carphone Warehouse and to various forums about City Link where the following complaint is commonplace - "and on all occasions they've claimed that 'nobody was available at home and that a card was left' .
Thank you for spoiling my whole day and making a young girl extremely disappointed"
