amazon switching to citylink fiasco (Initial City Link)

Advantages: dont have to pay amazon

Disadvantages: never get what i ordered

im posting this on every thread i can find with Amazon and Citylink as a search term.(not hijacking as it is on topic) because hopefully amazon will be collating comments and see some sense.

Last 2 years i have used amazon i have found them fantastic delivering through royal mail, strikes and all!
last fortnight they have started using citylink and i have had to cancel not one but two orders, something i never did with RM.

I work nights every other week so im always home for daytime deliveries. However, it would come 4:15 ish and i would be thinking "wheres that parcel" so i would look on amazons site to discover "delivery attempted" 4:15 (it actually happened as i was looking at it last time). No card through the door, no knock on the neighbours, nothing. The "attempted deliveries" all happened around the same time 3:45-4:15, Now im not the suspicious sort but what time would you think, " its close to knocking off time and ive still got....."
5 times i had "delivery attempted" on 2 seperate orders with no card through the door. Citylink...bunch of crooks, they can sue me if they can show i wasnt in (internet browsing history should do it!)
So, with citylinks depot 9 1/2 miles away and "the shops" 1/2 mile away, ive told amazon that our (up until now excellent) relationship is over.

Summary: rubbish!
