City Link have proved to be completely incompetent in many aspects of their service to deliver my parcel, which was required for last friday and still has not arrived. Firstly City Link had incorrectly labelled two parcels that were sent together by one seller. Instead of marrying and delivering the parcels to the addresses already on the parcels they applied their own labels which did not correlate with the original addresses on the parcels. Subsequently i received someone else's parcel and they received mine. This happened last Friday. I called them immediately, as my parcel was urgent required that weekend. They quickly returned (an hour later) to collect the incorrectly delivered and labelled parcel. They were unable to give me any information on my parcel or when it would be delivered, i was told it wouldn't be until at least monday, and someone would ring me from the depot. Never heard anything, therefore had to take action myself. I have made numerous phone calls to try to obtain my parcel quickly, i assume someone is paid to do this part of the chasing up/correcting mistakes, but that has not been evident in my case. It became clear that this issue was of no importance to City Link and certainly not a priorty as it was to me. I have been given two further delivery dates, which i have spent waiting for this delivery, which on both occasions never arrived. More false hope and I finally thought things were beginning to happen and the parcel was to be delivered today. However by 4pm, still no signs of a parcel delivery, so i chased it up again. Today i was told there was a problem with printing a label to stick on the parcel and the parcel was still at the other side of the country at the original recipients depot (Almost a week later, after i had originally instigated retrieval and delivery) instead it will now be delivered on Monday. Now this is just beyond a joke. I clearly need the parcel urgently and i just keep getting given crap for information and excuses. City Link have been completely incompetent at recollecting the parcel from the other recipient, dealing with my complaint, they have provided zero customer satisfaction, Zero action in organising for redelivery in a timely manner and they have showed no evidence of good customer service. Actions speak louder than words and apologies mean nothing when there is absolutely no action to rectify they problem . As far as i am concerned no effort has been made to rectify a problem City Link had created themselves. Over a week later i am still waiting for my parcel, and the parcel is still sat at the other recipients depot. City Link have shown, poor communication, no initiative and a don't care attitude. I am currently waiting on a response from city link to inform me how they plan to reflect on this list of blunders in my case to ensure they don't happen to other customers! No surprise I've had not reply... Just reiterates the DONT CARE attitude. Use another courier!!
