Sh*tty Link more like - been waiting 3 days for a Next Day delivery now, and they could'nt seem to care less when I phone their lame customer helpline, was told me the driver simply "ran out of hours" on both days previously. So why not pay him overtime or employ a second driver if they're inundated with Xmas deliveries? Like I've got nothing better to do than sit around waiting for a no-show delivery three days on the trot - complained to the supplier (Co-op) who to be fair have refunded £20 to my card as a goodwill gesture, but no apology from Sh*tty Link, who arrogant incompetence will cost them dear eventually.

I wish shippers would stop using City Link. Similar story to most reviewers. Cards posted through the door even when I've stayed at home all day waiting for delivery. Made appointments to collect from their depot and travelled there only to be told my parcel is back on the van. Impossible to speak to anyone at Citylink by telephone. Citylink are completely incompetent and I can't understand why anyone uses them. They make every other delivery company look brilliant.

City Link in Swansea have just got to be the biggest joke!!!! Told by Amazon my items would arrive by the 1st December. liars, incompetent.only received 1 of 2 parcels. Have been told on the phone that the other item was coming today. Waited in all day and guess what, no parcel. Called them again, told it would be here this evening before 8. No Parcel. And suprise, they close at 8 so I cannot call back now, how convenient. I will not order from a company that uses shitty link again.

They are used too much I think,City Link with their courier service these days. They are very quick with their service and are used by other websites to send items out to customers. What a total waste of time. Sat in half the day for nothing. At 2.30pm I just happened to check the tracking website to see what the pogress was. The progress was that they had tried to deliver and got no answer. Blatant lie and not too different from the other review on here. A phonecall to the Beckenham Office just led to excuses and the same old rubbish. "He did call." "You must have been out." "We can re-deliver another day." "He's out of your area now." etc etc. Total rubbish. Exactly what they said last time I had them fail to deliver something. So now yet another trip to Beckenham to pick up my own parcel. Don't use them and if you order from a company who do use them, expect to be let down and enjoy your trip to City Links Depot !!! ZERO STARS !!!

CityLink is the dumbest courier service known to man. I sat in all day yesterday expecting a return / collection between 8am and 5.30pm. When i rang them at 7.45pm (15 minutes before they close) they told me - ARE YOU READY FOR THIS - That they do not guarentee collection. Sorry, Im abit lost, doesnt that defeat the term COURIER (To collect and deliver).Anyway I rang today to find out the time they were coming and they told me - READY FOR THIS - They have no record of my collection. HAHA How dumb can these idiots get, running a courier firm isnt rocket science - DERRRRR. Infact its probably the easiest businesses to run.If you need a courier service - AVOID CITYLINK Also if you shop online and they use CITYLINK then find another online store that doesnt, I have stories about that too.

Great service, always reliable and helpful. I live out in the sticks and they deliver no problem. When I miss the van they answer the phone promptly, unlike Parcelforce, and send the van back that day when possible. The drivers are great and the track & trace works well. All you want from a courier.

TV ordered from Amazon. Advised that item shipped next day (Tuesday after August Bank Holiday Monday) from Swansea depot to destination Isle of Wight. Advised delivery Wednesday before noon. City Link express Delivery Service......mmmmm let me see. Not express. No delivery. Absolutly no service.

Copy of email sent to City Link- they made me sit in whole day and did not bother turning up. "I phoned City Link twice at around 6PM and then 7PM. City Link are absolutely hopeless and have no interested in ensuring they deliver items efficiently or at all it seems. Today I was waiting for an item to be delivered by them. I think they are absolutely rubbish!! I had to wait 13 hours for a package to be delivered (from 7:30 to 8:30) and the driver didn't say hello or smile, he just said you have a package but the thing was........ THERE WAS NO PACKAGE IN THE VAN!! At this point I was extremely frustrated and he said that someone will deliver a package sometime tomorrow, said sorry and went off!! Now I'm waiting for a package AGAIN until 5:30 for a package I should have got yesterday!! Overall, the service is extremely bad and should have chose Royal Mail! At least they're reliable and don't take up your whole day just to wait for a package!!

Brilliant service, arrives on time, no damaged parcels, everytime i order from cclonline, its delivered promptly. if im not in they leave a note, and the same day i can go to collect it. when i give the note and show my ID the parcel is given to me within a minute. used them numerous times and never failed me unlike parcelforce.

I used to work for FedEx in their customer services department so i now how frustrating it can be not to receive parcels on time. City Link though seems to want to take it to the next level. Rubbish, they have an impenetrable network of automated call centres which make it impossible to get through to anyone. Then when you finally do, they wont tell you when your parcel will be delivered, just anytime from 9 - 5.30, which really doesn't help when planning your day.

Ordered goods from Amazon specifically for delivery on Sat, checked the tracking and they were out for delivery on the day. Waited in all morning for delivery, absolutely no sign of delivery at all so checked the tracking again as 12:00 the driver had lied and entered that delivery attempted at 11:13 when I know for sure he hadn't been anywhere near. The only folks who had been on the drive that day were my wife, me and the postman. No card.Entering false information that delivery has been attempted in order to charge for a service not provided is fraud, plan and simple.Called customer services but they pack up on the dot of 12:00. Remain to be seen if I get a call back and the item delivered on Monday.

Every Citylink delivery that i've waited for has ended up with me having to drive to the depot to collect it myself, and everytime they have put a card through saying 'sorry you wernt in' without ringing the bell. Mother in law caught one of their drivers putting a card through her door, and asked the driver why he hadnt rung the bell as she'd been waiting for him and he admitted he wanted an early finish so hadnt put her parcel on the van.Absolutely the worst service ever, how can you call it a delivery when your guaranteed to have to collect it yourself.

Not only useless but liars as well. I was not carded on Monday as it shows on tracking info. Was cared on Tuesday, but when I called them to rearrange delivery, I was left holding 13 mins, I assume on the phone to other angry customers.
