Kwik Fit

Free MOT voucher waited 3 months for it had to pay for an MOT at my local garage during this time. Got in touch was told to send in receipt for refund. Sent back the voucher and receipt expecting reimbursement or replacement got neither, said they would phone me back did'nt happen. Will be taking into consideration when renewal of insurance is due as will my relatives and friends. Take note Kwik Fit word of mouth travels fast.

I was caught by their recent TV advertising for an MOT and Service at £99. Upon calling them it would actually cost £119...the reason was the type of car I had, a Golf.

Anyway, I went ahead with the MOT and it came back as a fail. Kwik-Fit said the alignment rods had been over heated and had to be replaced (around £150).

I contacted the company that heat those rods. They had an independant garage have a look and said they were fine and did not need replacing.

I took my car out of Kwik-Fit thinking that they were trying to get extra money out of me. I paided for the MOT and left.

I have since gone to an independant MOT garage and they said the rods weren't even close to need replacing. MOT PASSED EASY!

Nice one Kwik-Fit.

My only advice is don't use Kwik-Fit.

Kwik Fit, Yes they fit the job very quickly to cut your pocket.
I have change my battery in Kwik fit on Jan-2008 and it again needs to be replaced after 8 months time. The Services at Camberley center was very bad. They did not fit the pannel properly and I had to make a separeate visit for that.
They repaired my tyre puncher and its leaking the pressure when contacted they told you have to buy the new tyre or else we do not bother.
Its the service std they offer at Camberley Center.
