Kwik Fit

'You will be amazed at what we do' is the watermark on kwik-fits invoice and they are 500% right in robbing you hundreds of £££'s. I have gone through this when I took my Honda Civic for a MOT and Full Service at the Hounslow branch of Kwik-fit. The price they quoted was a mere £179 (£35 for MOT) which I thought was cheap for the services I will be getting. They called me around noon to say that they need to confirm replacing some parts with me. The list was almost endless and when asked for the total price of these replacement parts, I was told that it would cost around £620. We took our car to KWIK FIT to have a puncture repaired. A new lad was there, and he did our tyre. I could tell he was new because he kept asking one of the older men there if he had done something right, or what he should do next. It wasn't until the job was done that we saw the damage to the alloy wheel, which the man in charge said was already there. It was obvious from the lads shifty and uncomfortable behaviour that he was feeling guilty about something, but because the older man insisted that the damage was done previously, we realised there would be little use in pursuing the complaint.
We now use NATIONAL TYRES, a far more PROFESSIONAL COMPANY.

not only did kwikfit save us over 800 on our insurance for our subaru impreza sti but when we took it for the free mot it passed with flying colours so overall the kwikfit garage we used at hunslet in leeds were brilliant no complaints whatsoever well done guys

Kwick Fit Insurance are the worst Insurance company I have ever dealt with. I had an accident over a year ago and I am still waiting for compensation and the expenses they owe me. The unfortunate thing about them is the use the equally inept Albany assistance to handle their claims. When I first had my accident (where the third party drove in to the back of my car), I called up Kwick Fit and was asked if I wish to claim on my insurance. I said no as it wasn't my fault and I would be claiming on the third party's insurance. I originally had great things to say about Kwik Fit, now im not so sure. I have used them for my car twice now, and initially things were great. I needed a repair, and they found things straight away, gave me a good price, were great with communication and got parts ordered and fixed in one afternoon. I was very happy. Nothing went wrong with what they put on and it was exactly what i needed (along with things i asked for). The fact they chucked in a 20% off MOT & Service voucher after i paid was a bonus, as my service and MOT were coming up soon. Just last week i put my car in to them for a Service & MOT.
