Advantages: Of Kwik Fit - none, other than knowing not to use them again

Disadvantages: Waste of time, both in going to the service center, and waiting for satisfaction

Needed a fast MOT, and Kwik Fit Worthing (West Sussex) agreed to do the job. Gave them the make, model, etc, and turned up, to be told it would be one to one and a half hours. So I went shopping......One hour later I get a call. 'We cant do your MOT, it does not fit on our ramp !!!'
Not only did they omit to tell me when I booked, but waited for am hour, once the car was there.
I got a note from them, admitting it was their fault (just in case I was stopped before a 'good' company could do the work, and left.
Of the four companies contacted, each were astounded at the excuse, did their utmost to sort me out, and the company who did the work now has the note proudly pinned in their office.
The main complaint was the total disregard by the MOT engineer - not my problem..... well it will be, a complaint to the MD of Kwik Fit is being sent following this review.
