I have used Kwik Fit on numerous occasions so I feel that I am qualified to make a valid judgment on the services I have received. The fact I have used them on a number of occasions must mean they are doing something right, so here we go.

My first contact with Kwik Fit was about 6 years ago with an MOT. I dropped the car off in the morning and went to the retail park opposite whilst they checked the car over. I left my mobile number and requested they call me if I needed any work carried out. About 1/2 hour later they called me. Couple of small jobs needed to be done. I gave them permission after after grabbing a cup of tea at McDonald headed back. All was done fine. Only disappointment was that they did not accept Visa Electron - I had to go and get cash out next door - at a paid cash machine which cost me another £1.50. Other than this no problem at all.

Last month I took my car in and advised the mechanic that I had a problem with my front tyre. It was always going flat. He took the wheel off and then removed the tyre. He could find no fault. I took it back yesterday and advised that I still had the same problem. This time they found a small puncture. Cost £17 which was very reasonable. It was also dealt with quickly.

The guys were extremely friendly. The reception was dirty. I think a 3* is a fair result.

Summary: All in all a good company to deal with
