Not So Kwik Fit! (Kwik Fit)

I had a negative experience with Kwik-Fit in Doncaster. I went to the garage in search of an MOT, and despite there being no customer's in the shop (the staff clearly knew I was waiting as they actually walked right past me at various points) now I'm not totally unreasonable, I can appreciate they might have had other things to do?? But I was completely ignored for the period I was waiting - at least 15 minutes. I felt very much out of place there and got frustrated with the employees total disregard for me, so I left. After having spoken to a few friends (women and men), I have discovered similar experiences in terms of their service, such as over charging for simple items such as bulbs, battery's, oils and other fluids. Obviously, this is not an isolated incident within Doncaster as I've asked my friends who are scattered about the country. I also did a few price comparisons with kwick fit and a few other similar garages (Halfords, Charlie browns and apple) and found that for servicing, batteries and brake pads kwik fit was the most expensive. However this is not to say everything was more expensive at kwik fit but I think personally that adds a little weight to what I'm saying? I'm sure some people have had some good experiences with them but not me personally in Doncaster. Overall, I would not recommend Kwik-Fit to anybody due to very shoddy customer service, exorbitant prices & blatant dishonesty.
