'You will be amazed at what we do' is the watermark on kwik-fits invoice and they are 500% right in robbing you hundreds of £££'s.

I have gone through this when I took my Honda Civic for a MOT and Full Service at the Hounslow branch of Kwik-fit. The price they quoted was a mere £179 (£35 for MOT) which I thought was cheap for the services I will be getting. They called me around noon to say that they need to confirm replacing some parts with me. The list was almost endless and when asked for the total price of these replacement parts, I was told that it would cost around £620.

I was really amazed at their tactics of luring people with cheap MOT prices and then robbing them of later with unwanted part replacements. I refused to go with any of their advises. They didn't even bother to call me back to say that my car is ready for pickup. I had to call them. Later, I took my car for inspection at my local garage and handed over the recommendations that kwik-fit have specified on the service sheet. My local garage mechanic was shocked after going through the list.

I got everything replaced for just £104(incl of VAT) at my local garage and saved hundreds of £££'s. I myself bought the parts from Honda dealer (so no chance of them being substandard). All this for just £104 incl of fitting charges...

Beware of kwik-fit from now on folks!!!! I would never step in there again nor would recommend it to anyone in my whole life....
