I asked my son to take the car into Kwik Fit Redhill branch to have a look at rattling coming from the rear axle. They speculated it was the "arms" needing replacing which would cost about £280. So I agreed and about 2 hours later they rang me again to say it was not the arms but the spring on the rear passenger side wheel. It ... Read the complete review

How long do you reckon it would take Kwik-fit to MOT a car, fail it, re-align the headlights, fit two new tyres and an indicator bulb and issue an MOT cert? Now remember 'Kwik' means 'quick'. A few hours? Most of the day?.....how about a day-and-a-half! Yes, Kwik-fit Wokingham on the Reading road actually took form 13:30 to 17:30 ... Read the complete review

Wife took her car to local Kwik-Fit for puncture repair, nice simple job. That evening before putting car in garage notice tyre soft, subsequenty return to Kwik-Fit. Said repair had failed and was leaking though patch, would need to repalced tyre. Spoke to branch manager on phone, suggested as they had failed to carry out repair with due skill and care. Then they should refund fee and dicount price of replacement. Need to check area manager reply. Offered refund and discount, but withdrawn at face to face in branch. Told on refund of fee as goodwill gesture, nothing they would do about tyre. Won't be using there services again, will get new tyre elsewhere.

Well i have had an Astra & now own a Vectra, and every time we get MOT's at quick fit we develop a major water leak less than a week later, 2 cars over 3 years every time quick-fit get there hands on them they get water-leaks miraculously afterwards, I wouldn't mind but the fact we did not use them one year and that year there was no leak is just amazing as it shows there's something very wrong with their service.. Con Men out for easy money, and beware they seem to like targeting little women that don't look like they will stand up to them.STAY AWAY!

I will start by stating I am a qualified tyre fitter of 15 years experience who is currently in the trade. I visited a Kwik Fit centre in Birmingham to acquire a tyre for a friend i was visiting in Birmingham and as I live and work in Nuneaton was not able to supply and fit the tyre myself. I enquired about a tyre, which was ... Read the complete review

On February 8th 2012 I went to Kwik Fit (1 Tessa Rd Richfield Ave, Reading, RG1 8EQ) with a puncture. They were able to repair this but then approached me and said that one of the wheel nut bolts was cross threaded resulting in the whole hub requiring replacement. This was on the same hub / wheel that the tyre was replaced on. ... Read the complete review

Absolutely appalling service and management - the manager here is an embarrassment to the name of Kwik Fit, no manners, no courtesy, ill informed, ignorant, rude........the worst attitude I have encountered from any retail service for a long long time. Never again......I don't know what they are taught on Kwik Fit customer relations courses but this Manager somehow slipped through the net.Kwik Fit hang your heads in shame !If there was a no star option they would get it........

Had my MOT done this morning at Dorking Kwikfit. Booked online. Car taken in on time and passed. Several advisories given & clearly explained, all things that I knew needed doing, no pressure to get them done there. Bargain for £35. As a female have elsewhere felt taken advantage of but not here. Had to write this as nearly cancelled after reading over reviews on here but went ahead as had already paid and so glad I did. The reason I thought I'd try Kwikfit is because I don't trust my usual garage. Recommended, thanks Kwikfit!

I received a 20% off EVERYTHING at Kwikfit voucher recently and wanted to take use of it by doing an oil change with filter.Once I visited their service centre in Harrow and they said the filters were out of stock. After a couple of days of chasing up, they wanted me to come there today. Once the service was done, I presented them with the voucher, which clearly states that I am entitled for 20% off everything that they offer, however, the cashier denied the voucher by saying "their system won't allow it"!!! Clearly, it is a trick! They just distributed some vouchers to get the customers in and refuse to honour their own vouchers. At the end I took my car home (after paying the full price), to notice their apprentices had spilt oil all over the engine! I would never go there again!

on saturday I phoned kwik fit in galashiels to repair a leaking tyre valve just bring it in sir I was told as an OAP I realy did not want to drive the car with a leaking tyre but assured by the fact that kwik fit would fix it right away I set off on the 7 mile drive only to be told when arriving at the kwik fit depot that they did not have anyone who could fix a leaking valve and take it to ATS I was stunned at this as both myself and my wife are regular customers of kwik fit getting mot and servicing brakes ect. done there it seems they are only willing to help if you are spending hundreds of pounds needless to say I will never be back
