Nationwide Autocentres- I agree with the last reviewer.
Avoid them!
I had my Nissan Micra in the Kidderminster Branch, for a service and MOT on 19th. September 2006. They said it would be ready early afternoon.
At 2pm they called me to say I needed the Rear Brake Cylinder replaced at a cost of £120?
The Manager sounded very "Put out" when I said I did not want them to do the work ( I did the job myself and the part cost £15 from, SEVERNDALE MOTOR SPARES, KIDDERMINSTER, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).
Just before 5pm I phoned to ask if it was ready yet and the Manager said it was out on a test drive?
When I collected it the rear bumper had damage.
I complained to the Manager. He had a bad attitude and said it must have been like it when it came in?
I said I had just washed it at home and I would have seen it! He argued with me and said he would not accept the responsibility for the damage.
The invoice states "Test driven after completion" NO.
Another lie?
So Shame Nationwide Autocentre your promises of care are WORTHLESS!!!

I am sorry to hear this. However, my company deals directly with Nationwide Autocentre's business wise, and I think what some people do not realise is that they have some 217 branches throughout the UK, and a garage network of such a size unfortunately will from time to time have some issues at some of its branches.

I can assure you that it is not there intention to provide a low class service, and overall as a company Nationwide Autocentre's do in general provide a quality service that many of the main dealers can not compete with.

I hope that they rectify this problem for you amicably.

I took my car to Nationwide to get my car serviced and M.O.T this was 2 weeks ago it is still not been fixed yet first they broke the housing of the gearbox, they fixed that!!! then broke the gear stick it is at the moment stuck on with duck tape, I have complained to the head office and still waiting for a manager to get back to me.
so can any one advice me what i can do and where to go about this treatment ,

I have told them i am a carer and need to take people shopping and can't while the car is like this
