Reasonable price for MOT and Service (Nationwide Autocenters)

I have been using Nationwide Autocentre , Holloway Head, Birmingham, for several years running. The reason is that I have always been satisfied with the discounted prices offered as well as the fact of convenient location, close to the city centre and on a bus route.
Booking-in can be done online as well as by phone.
My most recent visit was in October 2009 to have the MOT and interim service done for my 7 year old Toyota, which came to £253.99 [including MOT £57, Service £99 and discount £34]. The cost of the 4 new tyres fitted and balanced came to about £100, plus wheel trims and brake fluid flush.
I have also found the manager and staff at this centre very helpful and courteous, willing to explain and clarify when more information is needed, for example items on the invoice.
Having compared MOT prices elsewhere, the Nationwide price was good value for me.
