Nationwide Autocentre, Southport-give em a very wide berth..Booked 03 Picasso for a full service. Booked in at 10.30via internet-didnt get up ramp till 1.30.Logbook not stamped on picking up. Had to ask. Next day engine shield fell off.Was told to bring it in-couldnt coz dragging on floor.They couldnt check brakes coz cudnt get wheels off.Oil level way over max limit. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE. Never again.Will pay full whack for proper Citroen service.

We took our 02 Modeo which had developed and engine rattling noise to be investigated, Nationwide passed on to their "engine specialists" (!) who could not find the fault but still charged us £250 for one spark plug and the oil filter. If I had my way they wouldn't get even ! star! £279 to fit a new starter motor on a Renault Clio 2001 model. When giving me the quote over phone the guy said £179 fitted, I am very sure of that. I've used the Nationwide Autocenter in Harrogate for a couple of years now after having them recommended to me. At this branch, at least, they couldn't be more helpful and have carried out a fair few minor repairs for no charge at all, topped up brake fluid for free when my wife called in when the warning light came on, even taken the ... AVOID NATIONWIDE AUTOCENTER AT ALL COSTS THEY RIPPED ME OFF AND WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU!!!!. They slashed both cv boots with the hope of me asking them to do the work. I know this is the case because they had passed an MOT. I think they were short of work. please dont make the same mistake go to someone with honesty and not NATIONWIDE AUTOCENTRE RIP OFF COWBOYS.
