Other SchoolsNewest Review: ... much in demand in the evenings' was what I was told... ha ha later I was to learn that most driving schools are very busy in the evenings and weekends. At that time there was only one special offer being offered .. 10 lessons for £170 on a manual car a year back. There are several other packages that are on offer like an hor for £18, intensive courses , longer block-booking discounts , one hour Safe to Drive Assessment tests for local business d rivers , £110 for a pass plus course and such. The first lesson went quite well, the lady was indeed very patient and good and talked me through the gears etc. The thing was the car (a Vaux... more |

The thought of taking driving lessons had made me very anxious and thus I had turned to Burn Those L-Plates diving school Chatham (as they advertised that they had special instructors who were excellent with nervous pupils. There was another apparent good point about this school.. they were charging the same price per lesson for evening learning as well . Most schools charge an extra for evening and weekend lessons. So I after having a good read about them (nothing much to read there except basic information) their website link from www.yell.com I took the courage and rang them up on the local number provided on their website .. 01634 812 802 ... Qulaity Drive has been excellent. My instructor Clem was always on time and the lesson was always a complete hour (not like some companies that include driving to your house as part of your one hour). Quality Drive are based in South London and will cater for all needs. The instructors are patient and very reassuring and will make all people feel comfortable behind the wheel. Their prices are good too and are lower than the bigger companies and their cars are all new and up to date. They cater for both Automatic and ... Read the complete review

I learnt to drive with CASTLE driving school, based in Colchester, Essex. I wanted to tell you about them, as they were fantastic, and I passed my teast after 3 days of lessons. I think it was 3 or 4 hours a day of solid driving. My instructor was nice, but firm. I don't like being pushed to do things I didn't think I was ready for, but in this case, it did me a lot of good. Yes, it was intensive - but I passed!!! If you are learning to drive, you will save heaps of ... Read the complete review

I have just passed my driving test with a company called 'Gears'. They are a new company which have just started up yet the instructor has had loads of experience in teaching people to drive as he used to belong to another company but he left them when he realised that he could go alone. He operates his business from Basingstoke (Hampshire) but will drive to various towns including: Aldershot, Weybridge, Frimley, Farnham etc. Your learn to drive in a Vauxhall Corsa which is full kitted out in the top of the range computer. Lessons start from a very cheap, £15 an hour which is cheap than BSM or AA. He won't take your money again and again ... Read the complete review
