Avoid ParcelToGo - Poor Service, Customer Service non existant and reps dishonest

Had to leave one star review, in reality service from this company deserves none
I booked a delivery with Hermes through Parcel2Go, item was collected a day late and when I complained about this was told that delivery to customer would still take place within 3 days.
Contacted them again when my customer complained to say parcel still not arrived. Was told parcel was at distribution point and would be delivered to the customer the next day. It was not, when I complained again I discovered that both the previous agents had lied to me. The parcel was still enroute through the network had not even reached the distribution point when I contacted them the 2nd time.
I asked for a refund as the service was not as advertised and was told that as they did not provide a guaranteed service as per their terms and conditions fine print, they could not offer me a refund. I asked them to ensure the parcel was delivered the following day, this is not possible as per their terms and conditions they do not provide a guaranteed service and I just had to wait for the parcel to be delivered. They wouldnt even admit or acknowledge that the two previous agents had misrepresented the timescales I could expect for the delivery to take place.
Customer has still not received their parcel and now I have asked for the parcel to be returned to my office. I am going to use my normal delivery service instead, this takes 3-5 days and I only tried the Hermes service with Parcel2Go as their website stated delivery was 3 days. I wanted to get this to the customer as quickly as possible.
If their terms and conditions completely absolve them from any responsibility to ensure delivery takes place within the timescale advertised on their website what is the point of using this company and paying for a 3 day service? Your parcel might as well be placed in a bottle and thrown in the nearest river. It will get to your customer a damn site quicker!
Now waiting for my parcel to be returned to me, what are the odds that this will mysteriously disappear and I will have to claim for a "lost" item?
Summary: Only use if you want to disappoint your customers and ruin your reputation
