Utter Rubbish (Parcelforce)

Advantages: Great if you like wasting your time or if you're not bothered about receiving your parcel

Disadvantages: Crap service, uninformed staff, no care

Parcelforce are utter rubbish. Their staff are inconsistent, uninformed and unhelpful. I have been trying for a month to have a parcel delivered to my local post office after I wasn't at home the first time. Each time it was supposed to be at the post office it wasn't there, they couldn't say why and just suggested I rearrange for it to be sent to the post office again. I didn't worry because they said they would hold onto it until it could be redelivered.

Now I try to have it redelivered to my home (on a sat for £12). They have just telephoned to say it's been returned to sender! That my 'type' of parcel (whatever that means) cannot be delivered to the post office and they only hold onto parcels for 10 days!!! If someone had told me this in the beginning I would have picked up the parcel from the depot.

I am now going to have to try to get the item re-sent to me (from Germany!), and will no doubt have to pay a redelivery charge.

Every time I've phoned parcelforce, I've had to hold on for at least 10 minutes, all the while listening to their recorded crap about what a great company they are.

If you have to send a parcel, don't use parcelforce. And if you are waiting to receive a parcel through them, well, fingers crossed and best of luck!

Summary: Can't say it strongly enough - they are RUBBISH!!!!!
