When I first used Parcelforce I thought that the service was good (this was 2 years ago). I mostly get stuff shipped to me by EMS and I've always recieved it with no problems. EMS usually takes 3-5 days and I receive my parcels within that time.
I even ordered a custom made coat from Canada, I was charged with customs for it. I had a tracking number and the customs was cleared in about 20 minutes after it had arrived into the UK.
But now their service has declined.
I've ordered something from Japan and it has been stuck in the International hub for a week now claiming that there is customs to be paid.
The parcel that is being sent to me has the wrong name and address on it and I email them asking if it was possible for it to be changed. They emailed me back 5 days later talking about the HM customs & revenue and didn't even bother to answer my question.
Overall I've sent a lot of complaints about several packages that I should be recieving. Their customer service is the worst that I have ever seen.
I would recommend that everyone use UPS if ordering stuff to the UK because they deliver packages themselves. And I recieved a package using UPS in just 3 days with no bullshit compared to the shit you get for using parcelforce.
I keep records of the information from tracking and I had a package that probably had the best journey of its life.

I eventually recieved this package after complaining about the poor service.
Also what I've noticed about their customer service for emails is that they send out the same reply. I sent to 2 emails with different questions and I got replys from both with the same answer.

- 07/02/08 I'm sure that the correct papers are on the parcel because the place that I ordered from puts the papers outside the package.
And my parcel still hasn't moved from the international hub but I think I will have to pay customs |
