Advantages: signed for seems to be the only reasonable service

Disadvantages: £50 for international datapost has taken longer than £5 signed for

I have spent £50, yes bloody fifty pounds to send a letter to Japan the fastest way they offer, and the result? It has been last tracked at the Aldershot Depot on its way to Coventry, i sent it 4 pm Friday, going to the Depot 7pm friday, and thats the last i heard, i rang up multiple times their advice was to "sit tight and wait"

Im usually very patient and i hate swearing but "f*ck off" sit and wait what kind of reply is that for a letter than just cost £50

I usually go for "signed for" and it arrives in Japan in 3 days, but this had to be in Japan for 5 days so i wanted it guarenteed, Ill splash out to make sure, after all ive just spent £2500 on uni fees, and they may not accept me if the letter fails to reach them by the 20

So fingers crossed my letter will have completed a 15 hour flight and arrived in Japan by tomorrow

I tried to explain to the woman on the phone the flight is 15 hours, unless its sent on the plane Now, it wont reach there in 5 days, Ive paid £50 for the letter to take longer, possibly get lost, and possibly jeopardise my place at university

A tip, NEVER use the expensive options of parcelforce, Signed For is quicker than international datapost, and you know what else, its 10 times cheaper, i sent the letter again by Signed for today £5.24

Also when calling, select the tracking option first, and when the second set of options comes up do nothing, it will repeat and then connect,

Finally I recommend UPS, Parcelforce dont give a flying s*** about ur post and DHL loves to bash it about
and now, an expensive phone call to Japan to ensure i dont lose my place at university

i didnt want to rate them at all but i have to, so one star

Summary: can i claim £3000 from parcelforce 4 uni fees if i lose my place becuase they cant deliver a letter?
