Parcel Force or rather Parcel Farce-what a group of professional, efficient and helpful people-NOT!!! Made a mistake of sending a package International Economy which I'll never do again. After package had failed to make it's final destination by the three and a half week mark, I decided to inquire at the post office, the fate of the package. Being told 4-6weeks was the average time, I was forced to wait awhile before stating a complaint. Now that time has arrived, the Parcel Force 'Helpline' is saying that it averages times of 2-3 months!! Then asked if they could track this parcel, all they could say was that it was 'in transit' and it would stay that way until it got to it's final address. After stating that this time wasn't what the PO had previously told me and was totally unacceptably, and being passed over to a supervisor, was told there was nothing that they or I could do about it, and hung up on me!! Being that the package was sent International Economy, I'm not intitled to any compensation, so what they're saying is 'if it's not there in 3 months, it's not coming', and sorry, no compensation. This opens up another can of worms, if these packages can't ever be traced, and they just stay 'in transit' until they arrive, if they go missing or or misplaced for any reason, they will always show up as 'in transit'. Wonder how many package will be left in transit after the Xmas period?! Next time I'd rather give my package to a blind, mute, half drugged dolphin (if I can find one). Destination is inland USA, so finding his way through various streams and creeks will be a challenge, but will still have a better chance of getting my package to it's mountain destination quicker than a Parcel Farce employer!! Flipper-here boy!
