Advantages: Easy to book through Post Offices and Online, not too expensive, reliable.

Disadvantages: You have got to wait in all day for deliveries.

Parcel Force is part of the Royal Mail group, and is an express delivery company working through a network of hubs across the UK, with their central hub being based in coventry. Parcels can be sent with Parcel Force at many local Post Office branches, you can book collections online, and you can also take them to your local depot. The prices tend to be quite good, though not ridiculously cheap, but apparently unlike some on here, I have always found their service to be very good.

One of the good things about Parcel Force is that their website has prooved very reliable for me in the past. Other courier companies often fail to show when you book a collection, and you have to keep chasing them around until they eventually decide to one day come, but Parcel Force have always been there as promised when I have booked a collection via their website. I have also booked them through PayPal, however beware as PayPal do not advise Parcel Force that a collection is necessary (how stupid is that?) so you'll end up with no collection. You have to take the parcel to the depot yourself, which isn't too much of an issue for me as the depot is fairly close, and the trailer does not leave until about 8pm each night.

Parcel Force operate electronic signiature computers that they hold in their hand, and their tracking service has always been one of the easiest to follow, although recently it's been a little bit funny. I have never had an issue with a Parcel not turning up though, unlike with some of Parcel Force's rivals, that say they came and left a card even though you were in all day and you know for certain no one called and no card was left!

I have used Parcel Force many times as both a buyer and a seller, and I havn't had any problem with them yet.

Summary: My experiences have all been good I have to say.
