Advantages: When they get it right they are great.

Disadvantages: When they get it wrong (and they do a lot) they really are hopeless.

Using ParcelFarce is a bit of a gamble. It's a coin toss as to whether your item will arrive at all let alone in one piece. When they are good they are very good, when they are bad they are terrible and will leave you seriously regretting ever entrusting them with even the most non-precious cargo.

My latest escapade with these muppets was when I recieved a "you were out" card... in the mail! That's right, they didn't even try to deliver (there was someone in if they had), they just posted me a card telling me they could not deliver.

To make matters worse they had taken my package to my nearest post office branch, except they hadn't. I have a post office 1.4 miles away, another 3.5 miles away and one more 6 miles away, all of which accept local collect parcels. Which one did they choose? None of them.

They took my parcel to an office 12 miles away. Or so they said.

I drove the 12 miles because I wanted my package only to find it wasn't there.

So a 24 mile wasted round trip . I have contacted Parcelforce who seem clueless as to where my parcel is. The tracking says it is at a post office awaiting collection but no one seems to know which office.

So as it stands the item was sent last Tuesday on a 48 hour service. It is now almost a week later and no one can advise where it is, when I will get it or anything else. Never mind the fact that they never even tried to deliver it in the first place. What other courier would just dump it at a depot somewhere and just post you a card telling you to go collect it?

I have wasted money on their 0870 and 0845 numbers, fuel and time doing a drive to where they claimed my parcel was and am still without the package.

And this isn't my only bad experience! They are rubbish.
